Plaster Boarding

Plaster boarding is a method we use frequently when studwork is involved, this is where plaster board is applied to the ceilings and walls to achieve a level flat finish. It is tapped and then skimmed with plaster to give it that perfect smooth finish. We have used this solution many times when we have needed to form partition walls for extensions or loft conversations. It is used often for non-load bearing walls and is ideal to cover wall surfaces in conversations, extensions and modern buildings. We find this is more commonly used because it provides our customers in Essex with a quicker, easier and can be a more cost effective solution than using blocks or bricks.
